Hi everyone, I ran CHKDSK /R on a relatively new laptop for some troubleshooting to do with a one off BSOD and after it running and entering CHKDSK, it came back saying everything is fine with the disk and there’s no Found.000 folder with fragmented files. I also downloaded CrystalDiskInfo and it says the same thing and that the drive is 100% healthy.

I’m worried about having ran CHDSK /F and /R because if there’s nothing wrong with the SSD, will this command have affected it?

I haven’t had a BSOD since, so I just ran it as more of a guarantee.

What would you guys do? Re-install Windows or just carry on using the device?

The command itself won't do anything weird, especially if it haven't found any problems. It's basically just a scan.

As for the blue screen you're better off checking event viewer to see what was happening right before it happened.

Okay, thanks so much.

as above but you can run sfc /scannow as admin in cmd to scan the drive for corrupted windows files & ill auto repair those if found
