Chocolate bars really are shrinking

It is a damn shame.

i remember walkers were attacked for providing less crisps in their bags, and their defence was, to provide fresher crisps we have to have a equal amount of space in the bag or something. well this may be true, but they could have made the bags bigger instead of reducing the crisps.

Some bars definately get smaller, i work in a shop and ive seen newer stock come in and be smaller. Most recently milky ways :(

When I worked in a newsagents when younger, we used to get packs of Walkers that were burst because they'd been overfilled. And cans of coke used to cost £0.40. You used to be able to take a pound down there and buy a days worth of supplies!

Weird thing is, that was only 7 years ago!

Milky Way and Mars Bars have shrunk 7.2%, apparently. Evil things either way so more fool the people who buy them! Snickers all the way! :D

I also think it has something to do with supermarkets, when you buy something from a petrol station they allways rip you off. It isn't that bad though if you go to a bg tesco et al.

Everythings getting smaller while costing more. Drinks like coke are about the same size while costing more. Those 750ml (i think) bottles of coke and fanta etc used to cost 65p, now theyre over £1.10, could get a 2 litre bottle of coke for that a couple of years back.

I bought a flake yesterday and it cost about 65p,

In most supermarkets you'll find the 1.5l bottles of coke etc are cheaper than the 500ml bottles.

In our local co-op the 500ml bottles of coke are £1.09, while the 1.5l bottles are 99p.
