Inspired by the american candies, the thing I REALLY wanted the most was chocolate pretzels. But I didn't really want to pay over £3 a bag for the flipz. So I've looked around and there's Cadburys, Sainsburys and Holland & Barrett chocolate pretzels, all about £1.99. The Holland & Barrett bag is the biggest at 140g.

I went to my local H&B but they don't have them, and I don't think many of their shops carry them except central london, mostly it's online. However the salesman rang H&B Brent Cross shopping centre and they have some there. So I'm popping down there tomorrow to get some. It's only about 3 miles away.

Anyway, I popped into sainsburys today and there was just one bag slumped amongst all the normal pretzels, with no price label. It's like that bag had my name on it waiting for me to buy it. Turns out it's discontinued. Guess how much I paid for it? 25p! :D They're not as crunchy as I would like but I still opened and resealed the bag 3 times before I could finally muster up the will power to stop taking another one and put the rest away. They're so nice, the saltiness with the sweet is awesome.

I'll check out asda ones. I wanna try the H&B because you get 140g in a bag, and let's face it, it you can never have too many chocolate pretzels! :) The M&S ones are only 60g for the same sort of price so I won't bother with them.

Just polished off the bag. Deee-llish! Pro tip: sucking the chocolate off the occasional malteser you pop in your mouth is nice, it leaves the malty ball to crunch on. Don't bother with the pretzels. While sucking the chocolate is nice, it leaves a pretty boring regular pretzel. It only works by crunching it together with the chocolate and letting the saltiness seep through the sweetness.
