In a little bit of dilemma.

My previous job I left due to management and having to talk to customers on the phone all day (energy company). My current job pays £19k a year working 6AM-2PM which fits me nicely. Its entirely web based support over email/live chat, its relaxing as no talking on the phone and its pretty chill during the day with a small team.

However there is no job security as we have no idea when we wont be needed anymore. In the last few days they have cut down on the number of staff as we had too many staff for the amount of money they are making, we didn't know who was being let go hence arranging an interview for another job as a backup. Our shifts are remaining the same 6AM-2PM but will have the opportunity to work 6AMtill6PM when needed/requested (with overtime). We also have the option of doing 6AM-6PM for 4 days a week and have 3 days of (with overtime paid for the extra hours). Our manager has said she plans to keep who she has left and more work to do will be added as the months roll on, she expects things to last a long time (its a company who has been running for 30+years) but hasn't had a customer service team until recently.

I had an interview today and I was offered the job on the spot (energy company again so I 100% know the job already), its £20k per year instead of £19k and is slightly closer to my house and can work from home 2/3 days out of 5. The only downside? having to go back onto the phones which was the main reason I left the previous company as I just couldn't do it anymore.

I would be saving around £150+ every month If I take the new job and have job security.

Help!
