Choice of 2 printers

Looking for a new all in one and have narrowed it down to 2 printers in my price range and also from makes I want.

Canon MP470

HP C4280

Both around the £70 mark - does anyone have any experience of these, or recommendations?
 
I would base your next decision on the cost of replacement cartridges, as canon will be cheaper to replace than on a HP one.
 
I read a few reviews online and the Canon seemed much preferred to the HP, which is a shame as the HP looks very nice. The cartridges are around the same price - about £11 each in the shop I was in, I'm guessing you can buy them cheaper online.

Think I'm going to go with the Canon as it got the better reviews.
 
Like HP lasers, dislike every HP inkjet I've had the misfortune of using so on that basis I'd go with the Canon since it is an inkjet you are looking at. I haven't actually used either of these printers, I'm just giving my general experiences of others in the range.
 
I got the C4280 for my dad in January and he loves it. Having a colour LCD display for previewing of photos was the deciding factor but so far its been cheap to run and produces good quality prints for the price.

I paid £50 for it. If you shop around you should be able to get it for that price.
