Not really bothered with the size of the hard drive because I've got a spare ssd to go in it, needs to be core i3 (2nd or 3rd gen).

We've looked at the TOSHIBA Satellite L750-201 @ £399

Specs
Intel® Core™ i3-380M Processor
clock speed : 2.53 GHz

Also the Dell inspiron Q17R @ £449

Specs
Intel® Core™ i3-2350M
Processor Speed (GHz) 2.3

Its for the daughter who wants decent onboard sound and to me the dell sounds much better.

Better processor and sound makes me think the extra £50 premium is best spent on the dell.

Outlet have better spec with a lower price. look for the Inspiron 15R - N5110 comes with 2rd gen CPU and GT 525M.

PS Then buy all the upgrades (RAM, SSD, HDD, Blu-ray) from OcUK :)

I was looking at that myself .... actually purchased it 2 days ago with a cost of £403.

I can't understand why dell charge £22 for delivery but we still don't get the laptop until the 16th.

Hope you are happy with the laptop once it turns up, my m11x took about 10 days all the way from the other side of the planet lol.

Regards.
