Hi, I just had my house redecorated and my old tv looks really out of place and doesnt even fit well on my new tv cabinet

I've been looking at the Samsung LE32R74BDX and the AOC N32W551T, ive got a reasonable amount of knowledge about lcd technology and i realise the samsung is on paper far superior in reality things often work out different.

I've noticed quite a few people getting backlight bleed from the corners with the samsung (this is my worst fear after a few years using a VP930 with my pc), Is the difference in quality between the two really that much?

I'm drawn to the AOC because it has no tv tuner whatsoever and its quite a bit cheaper..

The screen will be used mainly for my xbox and dvd player, and maybe the pc now and again.

Thanks in advance

Ah cheers tho i'm more concerned with the quality of the panel, i'm truly at odds over which samsung to get, what about these M87's?

Is it just a 100Hz version?...whats are the benefits of this?

Theres an interesting comparison of the toshiba 30C30, Panasonic 32DX70 and Samsung 32R86 on www.hdtvtest.co.uk.

Also good reviews of the 40" M86 Samsung and other screens.

I know little about big (40"+ LCD's) as at that size I believe plasma is the way.
