choices choices... old sony erricsons, which would you choose?

my c905 died

and i have been given two sony erricsons by a friend, i have to pick one but dont know which to keep.

Option 1: K800i
Plus points
sturdy, 3.2mp camera, good all rounder
negatives
small screen, chunky, heavy

option 2: W302
plus points
light weight, very thin, cool looking,
negatives
flimsy battery cover, 2mp camera, slow (maybe needs a firmware upgrade)
bigger screen than the k800i

I used to have a K800i and i have to admit it was fairly bullet proof. I dont know anything about the W302 but it looks nicer in my opinion.

The K800i is abit battered to be honest, nicks here and there, black buttons worn to white in places. shame i cant replace the casing.

K800i is bullet proof and a great all round phone that just works...well. I've owned one. I'd go with that. My friend just had his c905 die. I know two other people with problems with the speaker in them not working. I currently have a c902 Ericsson which is a little bit slow, has awful speaker phone mic and reboots occasionally. Apart from that it's a good phone.

k800i is hands down the best phone ive ever owned. did everything it needed too with no unnecessary gimmicks and was bombproof.

kind of wish i stuck with it rather than going with complicated smartphones that i had to kid myself into believing i need/want

if they released a sleeker one like the k810 with added gps then id buy one instantly

I'd go for the k800i, still have mine after ~3yrs and its going strong. Make sure you check if the joystick is dodgy though, it's a common problem in SEs of that era, the one on my k750i went dodgy and it just ruined using the phone for most things.

K800i has outlasted every phone I had since!! Only my knee to it's screen after arguing with the gf killed that one off. It still works though if you know the shortcuts lol!!
