Why are there so many choices for lap tops even from the same manufacturer 
Looking for a half decent laptop I can use in the lounge and hook up to the TV/Amp for Blu Ray.
The Sony vaio VGN-AR71M at £999 kind of fits what I want, 17", reasonable CPU/Ram/Drive and Blu Ray (Essential), has optical out which is good for the amp.
Can I get similar elsewhere cheaper?
