Had a Linksys BEFSR41 linking into Virgin Media but it was really bad..dropping the internet connection every 10 minutes or so.

Currently in RMA and thinking what I should get to replace it.

I have around £35-£40 to spend and was looking to see what people recommend.

Was thinking of http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-052-LS (guessing I can route a cable conn through it and two wired PCs), but don't know if i'll trust Linksys again as the BEFSR41 problems have been going on for years.

Thanks for any comments.

I would second that!

I have a WRT54GSv4 and it's been rock solid for a few year now I also have the DD-WRT firmware and I love the amount of tweaks etc!

But LewisStuart could I be cheeky and ask if you know how to boost the wirless signal as on previous versions it would be at 50% as default but you could push to 75% 100% but I can't seem to find that option on the version I'm using now?

Firmware: DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) mini

Any idea's? Router in front bedroom and I work on my laptop in the downstairs dinning room at the rear of the house!

Ah fantastic getting a good signal now ;)

Would be wrong not to be able to relax in the garden and work from home this summer ...

Thanks mate
