Hi,

I'm trying to figure out which of the following kits to use for my new system:

Corsair - CMD128GX4M8B3000C16

or

G skill - [Trident Z] F4-3200C14Q2-128GTZSW

the other option would be an 8x8Gb RAM kit, but I certainly want all 8 slots populated.

I'm tempted by the G Skill kit, but sourcing it appears to be a challenge....

The G Skill Trident Z is meant to be one of the best kits on the market but availability seems to be a big issue.

Corsair Dominator Platinum is very decent stuff as well. A 64GB 8x8 kit should be easier to get hold of as well.

I'd personally opt for the g.skill's, have seen the 4x8gb 3200C14's for around the £210 mark.
In saying that, if you plan to OC defo the g.skill if not then get cheapest or what suits you better.

So having given it a little more time I picked up a single stick of DDR4 16Gb for about £50 to tide me over while I use my system a bit...

Now I'm down to deciding between:

GSkill TridentZ
128Gb @ 3200mhz 16-18-18-38-2N

or

KLevv Cras
64Gb @ 2133mhz 15-15-15 -??-?

Both have the Rampage V Edition 10 on their QVL for those RAM options.

I (think) I've ruled the Corsair stuff out... for now.

This seems an easy choice do u need 64gb or 128gb.

These kits are different in both perf and size. You need to decide first how much capacity you need.

With BW-E push cpu and cache before RAM.

You should know as well as anyone 8-Pack... Do we NEED to do any of this?
No, we do it because we want to and because we can!

No, I don't need to but I had issues with my RAM on my RIVE platform and all 3 vendors first comment was that my RAM wasn't on the QVL for the motherboard.
So that's (one) of my primary concerns this time.
