Choosing a PSU for this build

Hey all

Bouncing from topic to topic got some really useful info so far.

Updating my current build which is

I5 - 4670k with a Corsair H100i cooler

this case

I don't overclock yet, but maybe will, I only run a single card, I currently have a cheap 500w psu and need something a bit less noisy and probably better quality (more efficient maybe)

Any advice welcomed thanks.

What kind of budget are you looking at? Based on the noise dampened Ghost you've chosen and the H100i, I'd consider the Superflower 500W 80+ Platinum Fanless PSU if you want something that is silent and gives you some breathing space for overclocking.

I was hoping for as low as is possible,

I like the idea of modular, since with the new case and rebuild I can make it all look tidy. Compared to mine now I hope they will all be quieter but I was hoping to save a few pennies if there was any cheaper solutions?

Any money saved here can go towards a new Graphics card to upgrade from my 660ti boost

The EVGA Supernova G2 750w is a much better psu than the BeQuiet which is more a budget orientated unit. The EVGA also has a hybrid fan mode. There is a review here.

Hybrid fan mode gives you the best of both worlds and you are not going to stress it with your components so it should be quiet.
