Choosing Z270 ITX Motherboard

I have the Asus Strix board at the moment and it's been good, having the 2 M.2 slots will be handy.

I've got the Asus Strix Z270i myself. Built the system up on Friday and I've been quite impressed with it - no hassles whatsoever and lots of features/functionality. Dual M.2 as mentioned is potentially very useful in the future.

On a side note, @Ev0, does your board have a small orange LED under one of the RAM slots/just left of the USB3 front panel connector when the board is up and running? It's on the surface of the board so it's not the RGB LEDs. I've got that lit up and since it's not one of the upper right diagnostics LEDs and there's no labelling or mention of it in the manual, I'm not sure if it's normal or not :)

I've been looking for mini itx boards recently, and opted against the MSI board, since a few reviews showed overclocking instability. Since the strix was a similar price, it was a no brainer really.

Thank you for the replies, I'll look at the strix, what are you using the two M.2 for?
One boot SSD and ?

The Gaming5 is like a mini SOC board, i.e best overclockers.

It also has the best support out of all the board manufactures.
