My X-Fi set-up has been working perfectly, but i've come across a problem today. Basically, when i try to play a DVD through PowerDVD there is no audio at all. It use to display the DolbyDigital or DTS symbol in the bottom of the screen when i changed audio setting on the DVD in question (Fast and the Furious), but now there is no audio at all, whatever option i choose in the DVD or within PowerDVD.
I tried playing it in VLC aswel but i just get 2 channel audio. I tried changing the device to A/52 over S/PDIF but the sound becomes incredibly choppy and stuttery.
Any ideas?
