Chord Ethernet Cables

Some people have a serious amount of money. For some people this is just a way to spend it.

No better that a £2.99 one in quality of transmission, but its the getting rid of the money and getting something that looks smart at the same time.

If I earned 300k+ a year I would probably buy them.

Yes I had a standard HDMI cable on my TV, upgraded to one of those £10,000 HDMI cables, and I must say the picture quality is through the roof now, definitely a good investment. Contrast, black levels, motion, everything is just so much better with this cable. It has taken my viewing enjoyment to an entirely different level.

are you a troll? Or do you really believe that your 0's for black are more round, and the speed of the 1's to 0's alternating has gone up?

There are no 0 or 1's running through digital cables....:)

Also the only true digital cables are optical.

Oh lawd.

I had the lynch mob on me here once when I pointed out that "digital" cables still deal with analogue signals. People started frothing at the mouth pretty quickly. It was amusing.

Optical cables are just as analogue as HDMI is, there's still a threshold for what light intensity resembles a zero or a one just as there are voltage thresholds in HDMI. It doesn't matter though, at long as there's enough of a difference between a zero and a one and the thing isn't physically broken.

Your reply makes me slightly mad but luckily the beer is keeping the inner Hulk at bay.. :)

I've seen it all now,

liquid filled fuses "reduces ringing inside the fuse"

what kind of idiot falls for this ?

I received some Audio Magic Nano-liquid fuses yesterday. I must say the improvement in sound was immediate and they sound far superior to the hifi tuning gold fuses that I had been using. I have used furutech and hifi tuning fuses in the past and felt they provided some improvement. Replacing with the liquid fuses was almost like the improvement you would expect from going from a stock power cord to a very high end one. Not bad for $60 bucks per component.
