Chosing a Blackberry and contract

Despite my protestations the girlfriends daughter wants a Blackberry mainly just for BIM.

She's 12 and doesn't seem to bothered about what phone it is as long as she can use the messenger.

Tesco are doing the 8520 curve for £15 a month (24 month contract) with

750 Minutes
5000 Texts
500meg data
Blackberry Internet Service

Seem an ok deal considering it normal costs a fiver just to add the BIS to the account. Any suggestions as to bettering this?

Seems a good deal for all those texts for £15 a month really, good call and text package!

Sounds fine to me. The 8520 doesn't need 500mb of data but that doesn't matter. She's only 12 so she'll have to be made to stick to this contract for the full 24 months otherwise she'll be expecting the new iphone/bb model with every birthday/christmas
