chris moyles show?

Really going to miss him on my morning commute, radio 4 has too little humour and radio 2 has too much crap music.

Moyles has always seemed like he has had a tense relationship with radio 1 but he is the only decent thing on it. The reason it has done so well is because it is one of the few radio shows which goes beyond that of a show and is more like listening to your friends' banter.

Same here, the team crack me up. I will miss the show.
 
Unlike most other breakfast DJ teams, Chris Moyles et al aren't rubbish, and do have their funny moments.

No doubt I will have to find something else to tune the DAB radio/alarm to - will give Master Grimshaw a try first though...
 
I think James Corden summed it up pretty well - Chris and the team make you feel like they're a group of your mates having a chat in the morning and make you feel included.

I've never experienced that with any other show team (especially not a breakfast show!), most others I feel like there's 2 or 3 people in a studio having a private conversation between them all that you are eavesdropping on.
 
I used to listen to the show over 10 years ago religiously, then my rate of listening slowed down as I started to find it infuriating (I guess I just grew up and with it my humour changed)
I flicked on for the 1st time in 2 years the other morning, listened to 20 mins of self indulgent nonsense then I was treated to an Ollie Murrs song, delightful.

And yeah, to all the haters, which one would you prefer, Moyles, or Grimmy, i'll leave that one with you ;)

One thing I DO hate though is when they do the whole video webcam things, it's always when I am in a car or not available to watch, they film the show. But don't iPlayer it, or dont but a long clip of it like 30-45 minutes, more like 3minutes.

Shame as not everyone can be by a screen to see it, we should have a decent catch up of it, especially seeing as its the last week, hopefully they will be online soon after but I wanted to catch up tonight, only got to see the show doing "This is your life" and some listening in the car.

I will miss the show, I will admit I haven't listened to him much over the summer only really listen when I was in school term and played it through the headphones on the bus and now those early uni starts.

Dont like Nick, all the best for him but I'm just going to have to find something else or wait for him to pop up again hopefully in the mornings.
 
I'm going to be gutted next week when hes gone! I've been listening to him on Radio 1 since he was doing the afternoon slot and have listened to pretty much every morning show on my way into work. I very rarely listen to any other radio show..

Guess I'm going to have to find a new radio station to listen to in the mornings now! :(
