chris moyles show?

I realised that breakfast with Grimmy is not for me, I am definitely not the target audience anymore, Radio 1 is making anyone over 24 feel old. Well their main shows are.

I probably would only make an effort to listen to Scott Mills or Zane Lowe, Mills just for the sometimes funny chat and Zane for some of the music.

Radio 1 breakfast show is a total fail now, I was a fan of Moyles show, especially last year it worked well for my Friday morning

I'm left in limbo by this, loved Moyles on my journey into work, tried grim this morning and wasn't impressed.
Don't want to listen to R2, the playlist just doesn't fit me. I'm not sure what age the playlist is aimed at but I'm 43 and I don't like it, a few good ones and then something just dire.

The age demographics just don't work between R1/R2, I just drop into a gap now.

R1 is supposed to be 14 to 29 or something like that, and Radio is 35 or older, so R2 is meant to be aimed at people like you really.

Haven't got DAB in the car, I do admit that I went to all the bother and expense to pull out the standard MK3 facelift radio and put in my JVC bluetooth ipod radio. Now I will miss moyles, but anything is better than 'grim' music.

(Did you see what I did there??)

Grimmy is awful :( bring back moyles and the team, and Dom! Dom is a legend with a shiney head who can make you lol impressions and funny interviews with celebs.

I really hate a radio show with too much music, and when there is no music playing they still talk about music, there is hardly anyone to banter with or bounce off in this show.

Rubbish

Thought I'd give him another chance this morning - I listened from 7:30am to just before 8am and the pillock didn't stop going on about all his celeb mates tweeting/texting and 'bigging him up' (some new age demographic lingo I presume) and 'showing him the love' (which I'm presuming means something very different from what it means to my age demographic).

If he wasn't talking about all the people that were tweeting him he was going on about the name of one of his guests coming up and repeating almost constantly Lewis Smith's name for 2 solid minutes and giggling to himself.

Grim, nobody is impressed you had Beeber on your show as lets face it, he goes wherever media exposure is.

Given it a fair crack, Radio 4 it is and I'll resign to the fact I'm now an old duffer.

everyone has pretty much said how I feel about this.

I only listened briefly (like 20 minutes) to Moyles in the morning on the way to work, and the last two days for Grimshaw have been rubbish.

I know at 31 I am not the target audience, but really, are the bosses that out of touch with the listeners/state of technology that they totally misunderstand the technology available to their target audience that they will more than likely choose an MP3 player over the radio.

I am sick of Grimshaw after 40 minutes worth of listening over two days, he has got the biggest gig on Radio and he knows it.

If you'd ever heard him in his late night(ish) slot you'd have known not to start your morning with him. He's ****ing atrocious, he's not even worth my energy on explaining any further why he's awful.

I really cant stand Grimshaw. I lasted about 45 seconds this morning and then switched the radio app off again.

I miss Chris, Dave, Dom and Aled! :( BRING THEM BACK YOU BBC ********!!!! >_<
