christmas cheer is ruining my vr experience! bah humbug

had my vive set up for 3 weeks now and its working great :)
today my wife put the christmas tree up and where she wanted it is right infront of one of the light houses... so obviously its blocked but it works okish...
that is untill the lights are on! and it freaks out and makes my controllers float around and the head tracking makes me do front flips.
so now i need to move the light houses which means drilling more holes in the walls which havent long been decorated :(:mad:
any one else in the same boat? lol
 
i wish i never bought my vive, waste of money imo the games are so basic and the graphics are really poor - did not meet my expectations at all.

sell it? i love mine, but then again i never expected to be sitting playing full aaa titles on it and researched a lot of games before i got it

no i didnt expect to play serious games on it when i got it because they are few and far between right now but 2017 seems to have a fair few full games/experiences.
i also wanted it to watch movies on a big screen along with sports sim games.
