Morning all
I have been tasked to bring a dessert to my families Christmas dinner, now I dont know if we will eat this Christmas day or boxing day and I will have to make it the day before Christmas so it will have to keep well for a couple of days.
I dont want to go for a traditional Christmas dessert as my family are fairly 'foody' and I would like to impress them with my (cough!) culinary skills

Any Ideas?

Nice one thanks guys, the Italian one looks lush but looks like a bit of work chrismas day which could get dangerous :D

The French one and the roulade look ideal...make before hand and no messing about Christmas day

Cheers

If you make it in its traditional form its just a trifle, so no messing about.

But Yule log style ones look great, especially if you put a little effort into decorating.
