Can you add something so that you can only switch off the lovely festive effects if you downgrade to the sickly green theme? That'll teach them bah humbug types!

It's OK on the desktop, but the forum is unreadable when using the mobile app on my phone.
I just noticed there no balls at the top when viewing on a mobile phone.
Am going have to check to see if they show up at all when using an iPad

Finding no problem with reading the forum with the snow effect on my iPhone
Just the balls at the top are missing on an iPhone.
That’s just a screen width thing - the baubles only show above a certain width, if you view the forum in landscape they should be visible.

Just wrapping a few presents today has left me feeling like death as I'm probably on day 4 of it so far.
Hopefully you're reaching the end of the roughest part.
It does drag on a bit though but feeling like death is a good sign after the feeling like dying stage.
