I ordered two games, shadow of mordor and gtav. I've played gtav on the 360, but not the ps4. I haven't played shadow of mordor at all.

I have three options:
  1. set gtav aside as a Christmas present play shadow of mordor straight away
  2. set aside shadow of mordor as a Christmas present play gtav straight away
  3. set both aside for Christmas, make do with the last of us and cod until then.
What would you do?

I play games based on value. I won't get GTA5 as I had it on 360, so will happily get it when it gets cheaper come Christmas. Shadow of Mordor isn't an online MP game, so again, wait till Christmas.

So now, I'm playing the crap out of Destiny, followed by Titanfall and others I currently have till Christmas. Then I get SoM for cheaper and then GTAIV so I can play it in FPS after Christmas.

Pointless getting a game sitting there, losing value.

Yeah I was going to go the other route but I suppose it makes more sense to save the cool and interesting game for Christmas.

Ooh, conflicting advice...

I've decided to save mordor for Christmas. It'll give me something to look forward to. Especially if it's goty material. Gtav will give me something to grind through while I wait.
