Christmas preperations in August - I **** you not

Went for a carvery today and couldn't believe what I saw. The Pub in question is putting the Xmas decorations trees and Christmas bookings already, it's only August and we have over 3 months till Christmas for **** sake!



What is up with this country's early Christmas preparations? I can understand the bookings for Xmas meals and whatnot but I swear every year they come earlier and earlier, i'm just waiting till we've gone that loopy that we'll be starting to put trees up in Summer.
 
It's just a promo :confused: they aren't putting a tree up to be festive. Taking bookings this early is normal too. They'll be extreamly busy for christmas so plenty of prep time.

They were decorating the whole pub or trying to (busy), if that's a promo then the effort they put in is amazing.
