Ho Ho Ho...
It's that time of year again when people keep asking me what I want for Christmas... I have a load of books on the list already but I can't think of any stocking fillers that I want and I'm certainly not going to ask for anything too expensive.

So I'm just here to canvass for ideas of what to ask for by stealing other peoples'.. :)

Id be more than pleased if i could finally find something in my car search

I have some money saved along side my normal savings specifically for a car but i cant decide what i want or what to get, and its annoying me.

I have never had such a hard time spending money

Other than that, i don't really know.

Yeah, I'm in need of a new car but I need to re-decorate my downstairs next year which means a new kitchen...

Fair enough, thats a good shout, How much you spending on it ?

I need to do my kitchen to, although, my car is a priority at the moment for spending,

i have savings but im not using it to do a car and kitchen at the same time

No car = no ability to get back and forth to work. My current car is drivable but has pending issues (clutch failure may happen soon) and its high milage.

Hoping i can find a good xmas deal on something.

The prevous owner of the house didn't plump in the washing machine correctly, so it's been leaking water underneath the floor boards and the floorboards are now *******.

The only saving grace was that it was the feed tap and clean water and not the waste tap and sewage water.

Since it's all open plan, it's the same flooring across the living room, dinning area and kitchen... so I need to replace the whole floor.

If I'm replacing the whole floor I'm going to resize the kitchen area, from 60% down to 40% of the downstairs, heck I may put in a wall... so that's why I need a new kitchen.

I'm planning to budget around 7k, the kitchen I have at the moment is really designed for a large family house with a dishwasher, range cooker, massive breakfast bar. I'm getting rid of the dishwasher and putting in a standard cooker something more suited for the 2 up 2 down house that it is. I have plenty of head room in the budget but I rather not spend it.. lol..

anything left after doing the living room and kitchen will be spent on a car, thou I'm not going for something flash.. I noticed that someone has open their door into the side of mine and managed to scrape the paint off...

Sounds fair enough, are you getting someone to do it or do most of it yourself? (hopefully not over xmas) ?
I need to wait till April to have some holidays, I'm going to do the clearing out myself and what I can... then get someone to lay the floors and do the kitchen... then it's just a case of doing what ever I can when I can.
