Chrome and Firefox get Opt-Out addons for tracking websites

Chrome's one is now live @ Google

Mozilla have announced theirs too but it's not live yet. Basically it stops ad orgs part of the self-regulation program for online behavioral advertising from tracking your online habits via cookies and so on. Good stuff.

am I the only one who would rather have targeted advertising than none targeted?
I quite like all my adverts being for bikes/eve, it makes it easy to ignore
having random ads would just be distracting!

DNT (do not track) headers are now sent by Firefox 4 Beta 11.

Never see ads anyway! Adblock.

Don't really mind them tracking my habits. Good to have the option though.
