Chrome and Firefox

It came to my attention that if you’re using explorer than in Google page Chrome advertisement appears. But if you’re using Firefox, no advertisement. Is Google supporting Firefox and open source? If so, why have they developed Google Chrome?

Here's my interpretation.

If using Internet Explorer + Google then Chrome Advert
If using Firefox + Google then no Chrome Advert.

If Google 69ing with Firefox then why the need for Chrome browser ?

It's probably part of Google/Mozilla's agreement to have Google as the default search engine for Firefox; "We'll use your search engine, but you can't advertise your alternative web browser".

yes i noticed this too and also assumed it ws because google is the default search engine on firefox
