Ok, so I installed some software the other day to convert some flac files to mp3 so that I could upload a couple of ripped cassettes up to google music. Unfortunately I was a bit of a doofus and didnt pay attention to the install properly and it installed some naff apps with the app I wanted to use as well.
Anyway, I have run Malwarebytes to clean up my machine, and thats fine, its not reporting anything now, so thats good, however it looks like something has changed in Chrome so Im a little worried and wanted to find out if it was just some random update for chrome that has kicked in at the same time.
Basically, when I go to a site that has an untrusted cert (i.e. our internal SVN server), I used to get a red background. Now I am getting a yellow background. So that screams to me that something has been changing settings of trusted sites/certs/etc.
Any ideas of things to check?
Plus, I have also noticed that the scroll bar control seems to have changed in chrome. It no longer has the top and bottom buttons, just the scroll bar itself. I've checked this against a version of chrome installed on another machine, and they are definitely different. The version numbers of the two rigs are ever so slightly different, with the one seeming odd, a newer version.
Anyone else using chrome noticed anything change recently?
