Chrome browser dark mode

Has anyone else noticed that Chrome suddenly has a dark theme without you applying one? Can't find anywhere in Chrome settings on how to revert? If so, me too. However I found out why. Windows update has allowed the dark theme of Windows to change Chrome. Only way I have found to restore it is to remove the dark theme from Windows and use light.
