How come disabling this in Chrome improves performance when I have a GTX1050 with the latest drivers installed. [email protected], 16GB RAM, Win 10.

When it's enabled, skipping videos in YouTube is laggy and unresponsive. With it disabled, smooth as butter.

I'll check tonight after work but what I found strange was 4k and 8k videos on Youtube with hardware acceleration enabled in Chrome worked fine, buttery smooth.

When I try 1080p with hardware acceleration enabled it has difficulty, especially when skipping through the video.

It's like the 1050 only wants to work with 4k and above videos....

Hmmm, came home, booted up and everything is working fine with hardware acceleration enabled.
