The options are pretty limited at the moment, but at least there's an on-off button! I can confirm it works as adblock does too.

ah fantastic, been using the dev version for ages (as in since chrome was released) getting better all the time

so glad I was able to stop using firefox over a year ago!

particularly liking the HTML5 <video> tag replacement extension for youtube

I'm sticking with FF still until Google add separators to the bookmarks manager as I rely on them to partition bookmarks!

Tried the AdThwart one, but it still has a long way to go. It misses quite a few ads, and it doesn't collapse the blank space like the Firefox version can.

Yup

Just tested it

Hopefully we'll get a proper adblock plus for it :)

The internet is pointless without adblock plus

there were a few different adblock extensions aren't there?

I've not tried any of them though, got used to ads on pages from browsing before adblockers ever existed. Any page with annoying ads I'll just not go there. If they can't make a site that isn't annoying to use without my browser modifying it then they don't deserve me time tbh.

even google itself is annoying without an adblocker

try firefox with adblock plus (with easylist loaded)

pages load quicker, less bandwidth used, and websites look a whole lot nicer

Darn, making me feel worse about not using Chrome :(

The main reason I can't swap is that I cannot seem to find a way to set a minimum font size for web pages like I can on Firefox, the small default web page font strains my eyes too much at the distance I sit at :o

There should be a message on the screen telling you that you need to get the beta version. When that downloads and installs shut down all the Chrome windows and start it back up again and the install buttons should work then.
