Tried the AdThwart one, but it still has a long way to go. It misses quite a few ads, and it doesn't collapse the blank space like the Firefox version can.

I've not tried any of them though, got used to ads on pages from browsing before adblockers ever existed. Any page with annoying ads I'll just not go there. If they can't make a site that isn't annoying to use without my browser modifying it then they don't deserve me time tbh.
The main reason I can't swap is that I cannot seem to find a way to set a minimum font size for web pages like I can on Firefox, the small default web page font strains my eyes too much at the distance I sit at
There should be a message on the screen telling you that you need to get the beta version. When that downloads and installs shut down all the Chrome windows and start it back up again and the install buttons should work then.
