Is there a way to clear out Chrome without losing stored passwords, logins etc? Mine seems to be chugging along a little slowly and I've not cleared it out since I installed the OS on this PC about a year ago. Don't want to lose passwords, stored login names etc though. Can this be done? I seem to recall doing this before thinking I had left my passwords intact but when I opened Chrome back up they had vanished. CCleaner has an option for clearing Chrome, would that be a way to go?

Ta. :)

CCleaner ought to be a good bet. IIRC it has separate options for cache and password clearing?

Cheers guys, CCleaner did the trick. I've installed LastPass extension as well and will have a play with that too, ta for the heads up.

It is possible to wipe the cache without losing passwords.
