I'm running Windows 11 with Chrome and keep getting YouTube freeze, tabs freezing, and pages not responding. I've even had the complete PC lock up while watching YouTube.

I originally thought it was a hardware/software issue with the GPU while using hardware acceleration, but now I'm wondering if it's just Chrome being rubbish.

Today it didn't lock up, but it would fail to load any page and just gave a spinning wheel. Loaded up edge and it loaded everything fine.

Has anyone else experienced issues?

Have you tried a using the in incognito to see if you still get the same issues?

Could be an extension causing the issue (if you have any)

Chrome for me has been fine, use it on my desktop and laptop for work

Hi I'm on Win 10 and found that changing the monitor from advanced sync to basic illuminated freezes I had just like this with videos.
It could be worth trying a reinstall of gpu drivers with basic driver only setting if you've got an amd setup.
