Chrome - middle mouse button

So, for no reason I can work out my middle mouse button no longer click-scrolls in chrome. I've tried disabling all extensions, clearing all data and even a reinstall. Nada.

Anyone got any further ideas?

did you create a new profile, reinstalling does nothing unless you do that

Yup. Even tried resetting the settings etc.

is it only in chrome? as thats a mouse setting not a chrome one

Only chrome. Probably worth pointing out that it's somewhat intermittent. 99% of the time it doesn't work then all of a sudden it will for a minute or so.

It's now randomly working.
