Chrome - Not showing Images?

Hi

Ive noticed an annoying issue with Chrome. It seems to struggle to show images on sites like eBay and Google Image search. It kinda trys for a few mins, then just loads the unknown file icons. All the sites work fine in IE and FF. Any clues?

Not experienced this myself, is it just Chrome or could it be a dodgy wireless connection or something?

Tried the obvious - reinstall Chrome?

Got a screenshot? Are the images all from a sub-domain or something?

Security software blocking them?

I reinstalled Windows yesterday and now it wont load images in both Chrome and IE6!

Its like it tries to load the images, then fails.
