Chrome passwords

Hey Peeps ,

Wondering has anyone got any experience of trying to get chrome passwords of and old hard drive ?
I have tried to move the chrome folder over to no avail and i can use Chromepass as work Antivirus detected Malware

Struggling to get these back for a Director

I've not tried this myself but have you tried installing Chrome as normal and then once installed rename the Google folder under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local and copy over the 1 from the HDD?

Chrome passwords stored in file called Login Data located in C:\Users\$username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\.

I got it worked by installed Chrome then deleted User Data folder and moved User Data backup folder to it and I had all bookmarks, history and passwords restored.
