Been running chrome forever now, but recently it has started to lock up.
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but this does nothing.
It locks up all the time after just a few seconds to max 60 seconds. Sometimes I have to ctrl/alt/del to get it to close.
Any idea?
Have not installed anything or changed any hardware. Running win10

I also experienced the program stopped and sent information to Microsoft in order to resolve it.
In the end, just run a second instant of Chrome and it got stable without crashing............

Just run the program in two separate windows - two instances.

use process explorer (or other) and get a stack trace 'process->properties->threads->stack' for the google process thread that is using the cpu,
and then google procedures that are called ... this is standardish software debug.

If ever I get any problems with Chrome I just switch to Firefox. The latest version of Firefox is very good, and at least you aren't worried about Google peering over your shoulder all the time.

Run it in two windows and they both locked up. After which it is hard to restart it again

Tried an older version and still the same
