Right - how do I bookmark a single tab? I can see the option to do them all, but not just one.

The edit function in the bookmarks page doesn't work either. I click to add a page, press enter and it's not added if that makes any sense.

Click the Star (In the right hand side) in the URL bar to bookmark that tab.

1)click the star icon in the address bar.
2)type a name AND a url in the box next to it before pressing enter

I use the Speed Dial extention, so you have a homepage of links to set favourites

Is it Speed dial or Speed dial 2 you're using - both look pretty cool.
