Chrome really crawling along

5 tabs make up my homepage when chrome starts and when I launch the browser they load up very quickly (50mb connection), however a google search has suddenly started taking absolutely ages!

IE works fine. The only addons to chrome are ABP. Any ideas before I switch browsers for good?

Tried namebench?

Not that it should JUST affect chrome over IE if your DNS is pants but it's worth checking at least.

If it's just a Google search taking ages, I'm going to assume typing directly into the address bar, you might want to check to make sure your default search engine is correct.
