Anyone experiencing similar issues with Chrome on OSX Mountain Lion?

I usually find pages either become unresponsive, leaving me no choice but to force quit the application.

The other issue is that I'll regularly lose control of all gestures, such as double finger scrolling. Now, I do have a smooth scrolling extension (Chromium Wheel Smooth Scroller) which makes me suspicious seeing as my issue does revolve around scrolling.

Anyone had a problem with such extensions and gestures?

Apologies if this is a common question or well known, I've only had this Mac Book Pro for a few weeks and it's my first. I did Google but all reports about common Chrome crashes were apparently down to a bug with data entry in the Omnibox which has been fixed?

I haven't actually experienced any issues but have moved to Safari as my browser of choice after reading that it was less intensive (saves battery). Can't say I'm missing Chrome at all yet, Safari is fitting the bill perfectly.

Chrome is my main browser and I've not experienced any of those issues at all.

Is the smooth scrolling extension needed? Scrolling seems equally as smooth in Chrome as it does in Safari for me. Have you tried disabling the extension for awhile?

Thanks for the suggestions chaps.

I disabled each extension separately and still couldn't isolate the issue, so I decided to delete the main (and only) profile which seems to have sorted the issue.

Must have been a corrupt profile.
