Chrome ui configuration near url bar

Why is my work chrome different (edit: icons for extensions hidden) and how can I make it like home? Yes, the same extensions are installed on the work install.

Windows Aero

Right click your desktop > Personalization > Windows Colour. Turn off Transparency and play with the colour sliders.

*Edit* Actually your exact setting is the pre-made 'Windows 7 Basic' theme

That affects how the icons are shown/hidden? :confused:

I don't care about aero/transparency at work.

Drag the little line near the arrow /url bar to show or hide more icons.

Yup! Looks like they are there, but hidden by the address bar.
