Chrome waste pipe to pvc pipe

Hi, I have just installed a new basin in my house (quite a feet for me really :D).

Problem I have is the chrome waste pipe does not go all the way through the wall to the external pvc 90 degree angle pipe. SO the waste water actually runs through the brick work before it hits the external pvc joint and into the drain.

Because of this it is back washing and a slight leak is happening on the internal side where the waste pipe goes into the wall.

How can I go about fixing this? Can I extend the chrome waste pipe in some way with a fixing?

Thanks

For a starting point, DON'T USE THIS SINK UNTIL IT IS FIXED. You might be getting a little seepage internally but you're probably flooding your cavity space!

You either need to fit a new PVC pipe that goes the full depth of the wall or find an extension to your chrome pipe. What fittings does the chrome pipe have?

Yeah mate I have isolated the water supply so my lass does not use it by accident :D The chrome pipe has no fittings on it, its just smooth!

This is what I have http://www.victoriaplumb.com/Bathro...ings/Basin-Wastes/Square-Bottle-Trap_568.html

I am worried that If I fit a coupling to my existing pipe then I wont be able to get it into the wall, also the extension part does not have to be chrome does is as it is in the wall so it wont be seen.
