Chrome - what do you use instead of downthemall?

Hi guys

As the title really...I'm using Chrome almost exclusively now but I'm really missing the downthemall addon for Firefox/Waterfox.

The author of the program said there won't be a Chrome version as it doesn't work the same way (I don't pretend to understand the technicalities), so I wondered if anyone has found any other software or workarounds to do the same job?

One of the best features of downthemall for me was the ability to specify the types of images, e.g. JPGs and download the full size versions when only the thumbnails are showing.

Hmmm, thought someone would know quite quickly on this.

I guess there hasn't been an easy workaround as yet, I haven't found one.

now what kind of page could it be where you'd want to download all the images with as little effort as possible? i can't be the only one thinking "special interests"

so I wondered if anyone has found any other software

you said yourself firefox/waterfox does it so why not keep one of those installed?

Hmmm, what a mucky mind you must have!

I will admit there is content of dubious virtue on the site but they also have a great hi-res section filled with all sorts of interesting stuff (no not that stuff).

Because Waterfox I find is slower than Chrome, Lastpass doesn't seem to work in Waterfox and I don't want to have to keep loading it up just to browse and download, if Chrome can do it all I'll be happy!
