Chrome White Square

Anyone else have a white square in your address bar? Happens on all websites

If not any idea how to remove it

That's a broken favicon surely.

A while ago that image used to be a favicon and made sense.
Then some idiot thought it might be better to make it display a generic globe.
Later on some buffoon decided to rebuild all the internal icons in a higher dpi but rename the assets.
This leaves you with today's generic page icon in the address bar.

Nearly all the sites I access show a grey globe symbol... so I have no idea
