Chrome

Hi all,

Switched to Google Chrome till FF3.5 is out, FF just seems to be getting slower and slower as time goes on, would reinstall 2.0 if it wasn't for awesome addons.

1. Ad Block Plus, can barely live without it here - any alternative that's not a local proxy? They mess with things.
2. Hyperlink/Status bar in bottom left, where to turn it off?

Sorry for answering your questions but have you tried the new beta version of firefox? Firefox 3.5 Beta 4?

It's super fast for me and I really recommend it, you can download it for free from mozillas FTP servers.

Just got this after reading it as Firefox has been a little slow for me recently. Have to say it is pretty snappy. Cheers

I'm quite pleased with how fast Iron (a more private off spin of Chrome) is; load up times are much faster than even Opera. However it can't save sessions of tabs (yet?), which is quite annoying.
