I've got a new Chromebook and every so often a web page won't even load. Sometimes its fine and then it will just go really slow or simply won't load pages.
To isolate the problem I have done the following:
- Sitting within 1m of the router.
- Only using one tab in the browser
- Checking that my chromebook is the only device where this is an issue.
When its not working it is almost like the page request has timed out....if that makes sense.
I am with TalkTalk and my router is a DLink DSL-2780. The firmware is the latest v1.13.
My router settings (the ones I know):
- WPA2 encyption with TKIP+AES. (Have also tried with just AES and just TKIP)
Chromebook settings:
- "Predict network actions to improve page load performance" is unchecked/off
Now given my symptoms I am guessing this is something funny with my Chromebook/router configuration...maybe I need to go into advanced settings here?
Anyone got any ideas?
