I'm after a device for media consumption when travelling, along with video calls via Google Meet and general browsing when at home.

I was initially thinking of an android tablet, but prices for tablets that carry long support don't seem like good value. I've also thought about a Surface product, but getting the right specs for the right price is also looking challenging.

Chromebooks look like they could be a really flexible product, but with some compromises. For example, even some of the Chromebook Plus products available appear to have poor quality screens. Can anyone recommend a Chromebook that has a really good screen for a good price? As close to £300 as possible would be ideal.
