Chromecast Audio from PC

Thinking of picking up a Chromecast Audio primarily to stream internet radio stations from a PC. I understand this is done by using Chrome with the add-on, which can then cast anything playing within it.

Anyone doing this and can report on how well it works?

Do you have a smart phone (android) in which case that is the best way of controlling one. I haven't got one of these so can't unfortunately comment. I went for the Digifunk Cobblestones on Amazon as they were a little more expensive but supported multiroom which Google are promising but haven't done yet

Not got the audio only model. But I can stream from chrome on my pc fine. Have to say for music I just use the built in spotify support.
