Has anyone else tried this? It's another quick online puzzle game similar in nature to geoguesser and wordle I guess (in that it's a little time waster with daily challenges).

The aim is to guess the year in which a photo was taken scoring points depending on how close you get, with 5 photos per round. Dates seemingly go from early 1900s to modern day.

Anyway, for those who fancy trying it the link is:

Had a quick play myself today and got a high score of 3988, though that round had a few more modern photos in which I was able to get close or spot on. Thought I'd start a thread for anyone interested!

Glad I shared it then! The round I did best I got one spot on which was a pic of Verne Troyer and Hilary Clinton, I'd never seen before but helped me guess a good year. There was also a pic of Time Square with an old mobile phone add which I was close on. The black and white one of a guy laying on a pile of glass bottles was by far the worst that round!

Not sure the supposed actual dates are correct on some of them mind - one was apparently 1999 but the electrical items in the image didn't come out until early 2000s.

Must admit I have no idea how they get the dates or verify any of them beyond the obvious/more recent ones.

Done today's daily one: 3772. First three were one year out each time then I was about 20 years out on the fourth and exact on the last. Could have been my best score without the fourth.

I was 1 out on one photo but that one was easy, a Nazi Youth camp.

3 out on another that was a photo of someone in the Oscars and I could spot Jared Leto.

Ah didn't know that's what 1 was, but I reasoned it was German and between wars.

Not bad, not great today. In reflection there was one or two I could have got closer on.

I just tried this for the first time (daily) and scored 1575. A couple of photos were 5 years out, but I was miles out on the other 3

I've been doing the daily's, managed 2994 today but really should have done better on the 4th. Sounds like some others are just doing the play option a few times though so can't compare with all the scores.
