Chuck season 4 :)

But there has to be more than 4 million people surely? I mean they've got 4 timezones!!!

There is just far too much choice. You need to be a MAJOR show to pull in the 10s of millions. Also really need to be sandwiched between 2 other good shows.

End of the day, its a geeky spy fest with some hot women. It should appeal to lots of people but guessing it has a hardcore following of...... geeky men :P

But there has to be more than 4 million people surely? I mean they've got 4 timezones!!!

Exactly. Four timezones with loads of channels. Think of how many different networks there are trying to promote their brand identity. Then think about how NBC might only be available to certain people. What about those who don't have cable TV etc?

The choice is mind blowing. You have to be something like American Idol or sports to pull MASSIVE figures in the US.

There's a whole field of TV studies dedicated to this. In America, there's very little to distinguish between brand identities and networks.

Just looked at how many people were watching Friends (the last 2 episodes)
52 million viewers :O

Though they were pulling 20 million+ every episode since the beginning. Crazy

Well NBC haven't said for themselves yet though have they that there's a S5?

Worth noting that it's not official yet. "Reports" are coming from insiders, but there's been no announcement yet, although it should come at some point this week.

Until it does, I'm still holding my breath. ;)

It was definitely a lot better when Chuck wasn't a hero.

Although the main problem I'm having with 4 is the inclusion of Sarah Connor and constantly relying on sexying up the blonde. We get it, she's attractive. Move on.

Lester and Jeff really are rarely funny now too

It was a surprisingly good, utterly predictable but not hugely irritating episode.

Chuck is just, all the "love" stuff as opposed to them on missions is not just cheesy and corney, its painful to watch.

AS others are saying, it started off well, but, in anything in life, you do something enough you actually get good at it, him still being a stuttering, clumsy idiot who can't say anything right 4 seasons later is painful, not funny. Characters need to grow, it doesn't always work but it has to happen. Chuck is the same guy from the first episode, and he still does the cringe worthy pop shot face every time he has to fight anyone and the insanely embarassing "loading up skill" thing is also a joke.

IT started off semi serious with a lot of slap stick stuff thrown in but has become completely slap stick, lost most of the comedy moments and gone round in circles for ages.

As with so many other shows, good premise but tame to poor execution, it should be a LOT better than it is.
