I had a job interview last friday for an ICT technician role! Was told on the friday evening i'd been shortlisted with 3 other people and that they wanted to have a think over the weekend about it all.

So feeling abit bummed because i was supposed to of found out on the friday about the outcome!

Anyway the weekend passed quickly as per and i got a phone call this afternoon saying i'd got the job!

i'm chuffed!!!!

So yeah thought i'd just let you all know hehe

Surprisingly i have no experience in the workplace (which is why i doubted i'd get the job)

I have got a Cisco IT essentials and a National Diploma in ICT systems support, and an ICT and business GNVQ with half decent GCSE's.....

I have similar quals and was told I would get nowhere in IT with them!

I have CCNA 1 & 2, IT Essentials 1 & 2 and a NVQ Level 3 in ICT Support.

I have now progressed onto a Foundation Degree in ICT Support as I was told it was needed for me to get anywhere.

Now I feel cheated!

Don't believe them, you can get a low end IT job and work your way up. Even most graduates start like this.
